Posted this in this section, cuz I don't trust things getting read anywhere else. Anyways, whose got SC2? I just bought it today. I played a 1v1 against some dude for my first game. Didn't think I would win. I just kinda wanted to get a feel for the game. I quickly realized there are a lot of similarities to the first one, and picked it up quick. I ended up raping this dudes army before it even got to my base w/o the lose of a unit (we were on islands, and I see this nub coming with medevacs packed with marines, already had a bunch of air to air units and quickly spotted and wiped out this mess before it got close to my base, then I rolled through with battlecruisers, thors, siege tanks, marines, marauders, ect. cuz a good army is a diverse army lol . I barely got one of his buildings destroyed and he surrendered lol.

never played the first, did the warcraft 3 +Xpac way. Got a few friends that want me to play it but meh...not sure.

Good. Hurry. I am getting sick and tired of getting newbs on my team in 2v2 battle. So it ends up being more like 2v1. I swear my game score is about double everyone else at the end of the match, with my teammate always at the bottom.

Yeah, SC2 is pretty much the same as SC.
SC is what got me started gaming, I love UMS too. I'll have to get it soon, but school is starting in two weeks and I need to focus on my studies as this is my last two years (which are the most important for a college student).

Probably pick this up today when I pick up my new laptop. Since I gotta get one for school anyway figured I mid as well put that lil extra and get one that doesn't suck the huge cock when it comes to gaming so hopefully I'm not disappointed.

Yeah your gonna need decent specs for this game. I got a pretty good setup and i still experience slow downs at times.

Yeah, the laptop is probably better than my desktop...friggin sad haha need to update my graphics card pretty bad but meh...get around to it eventually

It is a cool game with a strong campaign/storyline. In addition it has an outstanding integration with battle net. However I expected a more "evolutionary" gameplay taking into account the 10 years it has been in development.

yep, thats blizzard entertainment for ya. I played wow for two years, in the beginning the new content releases were amazing and new and fun. After awhile they got lazy as fuck with the skins for monsters and equipment etc and just copied it and made them a different color or shade.
Example, an epic sword that was sweet had its own skin and color then a few patches later new sword, same graphic ... different color. Totally took away the coolness of having a unique weapon.
