Damn right when I started making a comeback to sof. I saw the dead servers now from reading this post I know its been dead for a while. There are other servers kinda alive but I hit my steam up and im networking for a good game, probably COD.

My respect to everyone that helped the NTG Inf go on for this long, I was there playing with lots of you since 2003 just wasnt active on the forum.

It kept alot of us out of trouble and good clean fun during those rainy days. Even though its shutting down, it did its job.

If the server is still up in a few weeks I might be able to donate for a while BUT I want to see a list of active people that would use it, or it be a wasteof$$

All good things must come to an end. I'm sad to see the servers go, but I'm more proud of how long the servers, and the community have been around. I think it's something we can all appreciate. We had a good run with sof and now it's time to move on. I am not much for playing FPS on my comp, but I play mw2 on my ps3 from time to time. If we decide to move on to an FPS or 2 that the majority of the community is gonna move to, then I am more than willing to go and buy/download it. I'm gonna miss the noob tube

P.S If possible, it would be fantastic if at a set date we can have a good old fashioned happy hour, or two, or three ^^

Ya Zero peeps in the servers is hard to over come when you only have a few minutes to play, I tried for last couple of months and at first it seemed like it might work again. But then it petered off to nothing as it was before.

As for the games Dirk....it seems that CoD and BF2/Bad Company are the best bets reading this post and taking into account what I have read over the past few months, and TBH, when the servers are empty I play CoD MW2, and I would not be opposed to purchasing either BF2 or Bad Company.

Problem is, none of my mates play MW2, or if they do...I either don't have their SN, or they play it on the X-Box or PS3, if you ask me, this is a PC oriented Clan, as we know all of us have PC's, it should stay that way...if not there will be a serious tear in the community three or maybe four ways. PS3 side, Xbox side, Wii side and maybe a PC side. I know I don't play FPS on console...never have.

R.I.P SOF2 Demo, I will still luv joo as the best FPS I ever played with the greatest bunch of mates on the net. Nines years is one hell of a run for a Demo, too bad the last version sucked like it was Microsoft.Today I uninstall SOF for the final time.

The last 3 years there were rumors of NTG dying, well the SOF server died indeed... No people over there...

I had fun when I was on... It's really a shame that no one plays anymore... I'm gonna miss some of you guys... I'm playing on other inf servers (well the TEAJ server is the only server that is actually alive lately), so you can find me there...

Isn't there a free demo of newer games nowadays btw?

It's certainly sad to see this happen...but yes, this is not the end. I can't give out my contact info enough, heh. I have a 360, I have a PS3, I have a decent PC rig here, and I have no problems with playing with either of you here. I'm sure many of us can relate. We just need to show the support...I've complained about this support many times but now, more than ever, we need to get some motivation going here.

The time has come finally I guess, it's been a pleasure playing with you guys when I was still playing. Too bad we didn't do the last vet day or something like that before the servers closed, anyways I have to say I had lots of fun playing sof and I won't forget it .

it would be cool to do a vet day or weekeend but with more than 10 vets on server at least to have some fun and spam the notag tags on the server, like something huge and memorable

Aw... damn, tried going on Sof today and there's hardly anything left! It's sad, and I already feel a little strange...

I haven't been around for a while, but when I was around and for the lengths of time that I was you guys were easily the best friends ever, lol. Few things do I miss more than playing Sof2 demo for 10 hours a day, and I couldn't mean that more...and it was on NoTag servers that I played, and on NoTag servers that I made friends.

I wish that I had been in a better position to donate, but as I've been taking care of my family and just barely myself I haven't been in much of a position to do anything at all ;x...but it's a testament to greater dedication that the Servers lasted as long as they did...and I will never ever forget the memories I made on them

I love all of you guys!

I would definitely be up for one more romp in SOF II land. My suggestion would be to send out mass e-mails a week ahead of time though, to give more vets a chance to make time for it. I already uninstalled a month ago, and deleted all of it, but I will gladly take the time to put it back for one final hoorah...date and time...that's all I need ...
